Haylee Edwards and Mackenzie Dixon combined for 38 points to lead host Indian Lake to a 59-49 victory over Graham in a Central Buckeye Conference girls basketball game Monday night.
The Lakers improve to 2-4 overall and 1-1 in the CBC, while the Falcons drop to 5-3, 2-1. Edwards scored a game-high 20 points and Dixon had 18 in the win. Carly Strayer contributed eight points and Kennedy Schwaderer had six points.
Emma Yukon led Graham with 15 points. Indian Lake led 13-9 after the first quarter and the Lakers held a 26-18 advantage at halftime.
The Lakers then led 40-28 after three quarters and they stayed in control over the final stanza to wrap up the win.
In the junior varsity game, Indian Lake won 30-27. Addy Roby led the Lakers with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Kail Shoffstall and Kora Fulkerson each had eight points.
