Kylie Eaton’s favorite organization is helping Bellefontaine High School students and staff cope with her passing.

Eaton, 16, passed away March 31 following a long battle with medulloblastoma.

Kylie was a strong supporter of Battle Pups, which is a non-profit in Canal Winchester.

The organization was started by child cancer survivor Brady Martin, who was inspired to help others going through a battle in their lives.

Initially, Martin gave away a few stuffed pups. A few years later, the non-profit has helped thousands of people to stay strong when times are very tough.

Tuesday morning, April 8, Battle Pups was featured during an assembly at BHS .

Brady’s mother, Kristin, spoke to students and staff, detailing how giving back empowered Brady during his treatment.

BHS students and staff members were invited to take a Battle Pup and book.

Kylie’s family also attended the event.

Many students said the puppies will help them with their personal battles, including handling their grief while remembering their friend Kylie.

Kylie is remembered for her inspiring quote, “I don’t stop when I’m tired, I stop when I’m done,” which embodied her strength and courage.

She was beloved for her kindness and passion.
