Victoria Neer of Bellefontaine is the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Graduate Student Award at the University of Cincinnati.
She is graduate student in Special Education seeking second licensure.
A fifth grade math teacher at Urbana City Schools, she considers it a tremendous reward to work with the future of society. She strives to help students develop as individuals who embrace all people and meet challenges head on.
Her passion is to work with diverse learners who challenge her to be innovative. “I feel prepared to teach, engage, and learn with my students as a result of my time at the University of Cincinnati. Education is a gift that no one can take away. Education empowers,” she said.
Neer has two sons and her husband’s name is Andy. She will continue her education attending the University of Cincinnati, once she completes her master’s degree in August.
