BHS boys break through with back-to-back wins

After going 0-13 to start the season, Bellefontaine’s boys soccer team has won two straight games.

The Chiefs beat Kenton 4-0 on Saturday for their first victory and then followed with a 4-0 victory over Springfield Shawnee on Monday.

Bellefontaine is now 2-13-0 overall and 1-8-0 in the Central Buckeye Conference.

In the win over Kenton, Grady Graham scored two goals and Alex Crabill and Cody Hudson each had a goal for the Chiefs.

Lincoln Banta, Anderson Konz and Ethan Turnereach had one assist.

Noah Torsell recorded the shutout in goal with nine saves.

Konz tallied three goals to lead Bellefontaine in the win over Shawnee. Turner added a goal and Graham had an assist.

Torsell picked up his second consecutive shutout in goal with four saves.

The Chiefs travel to Urbana on Wednesday.

Raiders fall to Tecumseh

Benjamin Logan’s boys soccer team lost to host Tecumseh 2-0 in a Central
Buckeye Conference matchup Monday night.
