Thomas Franklin Burkhammer II, 66, of DeGraff, Ohio, passed away early, Monday, July 29, 2024, in his residence.

He was born in Weston, West Virginia, on May 20, 1958, the son of the late Thomas Franklin Burkhammer and Thelma Jean (Sprouse) Burkhammer, who survives in DeGraff, Ohio.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by eight siblings: Robert (Amie) Burkhammer of Bellefontaine, Raymond Burkhammer of Bellefontaine, Roger (Marcia) Burkhammer of Jackson Center, Linda (Willie Conley) Burkhammer of Orlando, WV, Kim (Jim Metz) Eagy of Lewistown, Brian (Kathy) Burkhammer of Bellefontaine, Gerri (Seth) Wright of Huntsville, and Greg (Holly) Burkhammer of Ashland, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas was a 1976 graduate of Indian Lake High School and enjoyed working on cars.

Pastor Bobbi Allen will officiate a memorial service on Friday, August 2, 2024, at 7:00pm at the Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 321 N. Main St., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311. Visitation will be two hours prior (5 to 7pm) to the service at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty, Ohio, at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Logan County Cancer Society c/o Mary Rutan Foundations, 205 Palmer Avenue, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
