A new mural has recently been installed along McKinley Street in downtown Bellefontaine to help bring addition recognition to America’s shortest street. Mayor Ben Stahler said the building owners Cody and Andy Warren “gave us their blessing to add a fresh look to the front of the building.” The design was done in-house with city code enforcement Officer Heather Harpst. The funding for the project was split between the Logan County Chamber of Commerce and the City of Bellefontaine. “It’s exciting to have yet another mural added to our downtown streetscape. We’re very proud of this landmark, and many people come to visit our community to have their picture taken on McKinley Street,” Stahler related. (SUBMITTED PHOTO)
