Mary K Halker, 99 of Huntsville, passed away Saturday, January 28th of 2023, at Mary Rutan Hospital. She went peacefully to join her 8 siblings in heaven.
She was born February 4, 1923 in West Liberty to the late Harry V. Williams and Susie P. (Clem) Williams Kauffman.
She married George E. Smith in 1940 and he preceded her in death in 1978. She married Rolland Halker in 1981 and he preceded her in death in 2002.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Carl Williams, and Clifford Williams. Sisters, Helen McClain, Lucy Earick, Delpha Minnich, Jennie Evilsizor, Joan Lones, and Susie Hamburger. She was preceded in death by sons, Jack Smith and Robert Smith. Grandchildren, Lucas Tracey, Kraig and Greg Smith.
Mary worked at Siemens (Bulldog Electric) for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, baking, and most of all, the time spent with her family.
She is survived by her children Sara (Lew) Tracey, Mary K. Bonnell, Renee Bogart, Jan (Dave) Kidd, and her daughter-in-law Nikki Smith. Grandchildren, Jonathan (Tara) Tracey, Joseph (Jess) Tracey, Jay Smith, Jodi (Al) Robinson, Kaci Smith, Rhonda Gilliam, Kris (Perry) Mitchell, Robin Goff, Aaron Bogart, Lindsay Kidd, Hailey (Andy) Connell, Steve (Connie) Bonnell, Shelli (Russ) Irwin. Several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 3, 2023 at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
