Two indicted for sex crimes

Two Bellefontaine residents accused of sex crimes involving minors were among 20 people named in indictments handed up by a Logan County grand jury on May 13, 2025.

Noah O. Taylor, 28, of Bellefontaine, was charged with four first-degree felony counts of rape and two counts of third-degree felony gross sexual imposition. The allegations stipulate that the some of the charges involved a victim less than 13 years old.

He was arrested April 28, 2025, after an investigation conducted by deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. 

He remains lodged in the Logan County Jail.

Andrew M. Ewing, 29, of Bellefontaine, was charged with 19 third-degree felony counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person.

He was originally lodged in jail on March 26, 2025, on a probation/parole violation.

In 2023, he was charged with a similar crime. He entered a guilty plea March 20, 2024, to a single fifth-degree felony count of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material and was sentenced to community control.
