Two Logan County defendants were sentenced this week in separate felony cases involving drug manufacturing and sex offenses.

Judge Kevin P. Braig of the Logan County Court of Common Pleas sentenced De’Andre L. Tucker and Ethan B. Gilmore during Wednesday, March 18, proceeding.

Tucker was sentenced to an indefinite prison term of 6 to 9 years after being convicted of illegal manufacture of drugs, a felony of the second degree. The court found the offense was committed as part of organized criminal activity.

His conviction stemmed from a June 27, 2025 multi-agency narcotics investigation conducted by officers and detectives of the Bellefontaine Police Department in cooperation with deputies and detectives of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office. Authorities reported executing multiple narcotics-related search warrants within the city of Bellefontaine and seizing evidence of drug trafficking. Tucker was among those taken into custody and later lodged in the Logan County Jail. No injuries to law enforcement personnel were reported during the operation.

In an unrelated case, Gilmore, 24, of Bellefontaine, was sentenced to an indefinite prison term of 4 to 6 years after being convicted of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a felony of the second degree, along with two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, both felonies of the fourth degree.

The case originated after the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force filed a complaint Nov. 18, 2025, prompting an investigation by detectives with the Bellefontaine Police Department into Gilmore’s online activities.

Detectives later executed a search warrant at Gilmore’s residence on Dec. 9, 2025, where investigators reported seizing multiple items of digital evidence, including a computer and hard drive. He was arrested and lodged in the Logan County Jail while the case proceeded through the court system.
