Justin A. Edlen, 30, of 4000 Alpine Parkway, lot K1, Valley Hi, was charged with menacing, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct related to an incident Monday, Aug. 28.

Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Mountainview Mobile Home park about 5:35 a.m. in reference to a menacing complaint.

Deputies spoke with a neighbor, who reported his fiancé was accosted by Edlen on her way to work that morning. His fiancé reported that Edlen stepped from the shadows in their yard as she was getting into her car and then he began shouting profanities at her.

Then as she approached the entrance/exit to the mobile home park, she stated Edlen was once again standing there, reportedly shouting at her and holding a cane, she noted.

Deputies were able to review a video that she took of the incident, and they said Edlen was displaying aggressive behavior toward her after she told him to leave her alone.

Deputies located Edlen during a traffic stop involving his vehicle in the parking lot of Mad River Mountain. While speaking with him, deputies observed an odor of alcohol on his person. He denied involvement in the incident that morning, even when presented with video evidence.

He was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail.
