Karen Eileen (Baker) Primavera

2297

Karen Eileen (Baker) Primavera passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, in Hamilton, Ohio.

Karen was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on Dec. 22, 1952, to the late Donald Eugene and Phyllis Eileen (Jenkins) Baker.

She also was preceded in death by her beloved cousins, Debbie Benedict and Michael Weller and many, many other beloved family members.

Karen graduated from Bellefontaine High School, where she was elected homecoming queen of her senior class. We felt she received that honor not because of her beauty, but because she was always kind to everyone!

After school, she entered the work force until she married her loving husband, Tom Primavera of Columbus, Ohio, on Dec. 29, 1984.

They resided briefly in Cincinnati, Ohio, and then moved to Hamilton, Ohio, where Tom started his jewelry business, “T & K Casting.”

Karen worked outside the home initially, but later on worked with Tom as his helper-assistant in his jewelry business.

Karen’s greatest regret about not overcoming this cancer was having to leave Tom.  He, in turn, has been devastated to lose Karen. Theirs was a happy and loving union.

Karen is survived by her loving husband Tom Primavera of Hamtilon. Also surviving are sisters Anne (Baker) Heinlen and Mary Jane Baker of Bellefontaine; and many, many wonderful cousins on both sides of our family trees, especially cousins John and Suzan Weller and family of Bellefontaine. She will truly be missed by all.

Karen’s remains will be interred at a later date at Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, Ohio, near our mother and dad’s final rating place. There are no plans at this time for a service.

Arrangements are handled by Eichholtz Daring & Sanford Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine. Contributions in Karen’s memory may be made to to the Logan County Cancer Society.
