Bellefontaine

Date:

John Mark Armentrout, 67, of Bellefontaine passed away on Monday, June 12, 2023, at his residence.

Many who knew him would find him in his garage, or out finding a good deal. John was a devoted grandfather of three, and was ecstatic that a great grandchild was on the way. He retired after 30 years of service from Honda, the Marysville plant, and proudly achieving a perfect attendance record for his entire tenure.

While he was a private person, he would help anyone in need without hesitation. John handed down many skills to his children, many of which were handed down to him. As ‘master of most’, plumbing, electric, carpentry, small and large engine repair, are a few skills that he executed well and taught with ease.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lois Armentrout; brother Tom (Cheryl) Armentrout.

Surviving family members include his sister Phyllis (John) Price, brother Eddie (Lynn) Armentrout; sons Brad (Terri) Armentrout, Wes (Bekah) Armentrout; grandchildren Dalton (Kali) Griffin, Dru Armentrout and Dillon Armentrout.

Family members will conduct a graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, at the Highland Memorial Cemetery Gazebo, 5591 US Route 68 S., West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Arrangements are in the care of Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory.
