Janice Lee Knoff, 69, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 1:41 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on May 26, 1955, a daughter of the late Robert Thomas Bishop Sr. and Thelma Lee (Hunt) Eaton. She was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Mitchell, and a sister, Susan Brewer.
On June 12, 2007, Janice married Keith Knoff in Gatlinburg, Tennessee and he survives. She is also survived by three brothers, Robert (Judy) Bishop, Dick (Barb) Eaton, and Mike (Sonya) Eaton; two aunts, Viola Bishop, and Donna Huffman; seven cousins, Cathy Brown, Mike Huffman, Randy Huffman, Roger Huffman, Shari Huffman, Kevin Huffman, and Barbara Bishop.
A 1974 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School, Janice had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Logan Acres in Bellefontaine and Dorothy Love in Sidney. She enjoyed reading, traveling, and most especially loved cats.
Pastor Mike Phillips will officiate a graveside service at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, at Highland Memorial Cemetery in West Liberty, Ohio with military honors performed by the Logan County Veteran Honor Guard.
