Janet M. Saunders, 96, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Logan Acres Care Center. She was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio on March 14, 1928, to the late Gail and Helen (Parkins) Dolph.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Melody Born; grandchildren, Heath (Jeanette) Cox, Kendra Born, Melia Born, Wade (Beth) Born, Lance Born, and Charlene Saunders; 18 great grandchildren; 6 great- great grandchildren, and 2 on the way.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Vallery Saunders; a son, Barry Saunders; grandchildren, Heather Cox and Scott Saunders; sisters, Patty Williams, and Joyce Stevenson; and many nieces and nephews.
Janet enjoyed going to garage sales, spending time with her family, and the outdoors. In her early years, she loved spending time outside playing with her grandchildren. Janet will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
