Iva Kay Byler, 49 years 9 months and 21 days, daughter of the late Paul and Leona (Zook) Byler, was born with Down’s Syndrome on June 18, 1975, in Kenton, Ohio. She entered into eternal rest on April 8, 2025, at the home of Marvin and Rebecca Huston in Belle Center, Ohio, after a period of declining health.
She attended the Belle Center Amish Church.
Iva Kay is survived by her siblings: Rebecca (Marvin) Huston, Jonathan (Susan) Byler, James (Lois) Byler, Philip (Elizabeth) Byler, Matthias (Deborah) Byler, all of Belle Center, and Rachel Ann (Joe) Schlabach of Millersburg, Ohio; and caregiver, Aunt Nancy Byler. She leaves to mourn 2 sisters, 4 brothers, 13 nieces, 19 nephews, and many friends.
Iva Kay was preceded in death by her parents, and niece Jewel Faith Byler.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 9, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Marvin Huston residence, 4883 St. Rt. 273 West, Belle Center. Bishop David Miller will officiate Iva Kay’s funeral service on Thursday, April 10, at 9 a.m. at the Huston residence. Burial will be in the Amish Cemetery, Belle Center.
