Georgia Anna Fox, 75, of Wapakoneta passed away at 7:10 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Odem at Auglaize.
She was born on August 9, 1948 in Lima, OH to Emil L. & Glenna L. (Miller) Hume who preceded her in death. She was married for 29 years to her husband; Paul D. Fox and he survives in Wapakoneta.
She is also survived by her children; Charlene Ja (Jim) Holycross, Steven M. (Penny) Johnston Jr.; step-children Paul M. (Kari) Fox, Nancy (Fred) Burrel, Corina Gardener Wreede; grandchildren Bruno Holycross, Zach (Megan) Holycross, Rainy Holycross, Slayer Holycross, Travis Holycross, Jasmine Holycross, Hunter Holycross, Austin (Andrea) Johnston, Ryan (Melinda) Johnston, Magan Johnston, Kaitlin (John) Martin, Elizabeth (Juston) Wheeler, Triston Fox, Arabella Fox; great-grandchildren Holdyn Johnston, Paris Johnston, Rowan Martin, Julian Martin, Neveah Martin, Leeym Wheeler, Karoline Wheeler; niece Steph (Wayne Augsburger) Hoff; nephew Jordan Motter and great-niece Angelle Wyatt.
She was preceded in death by a sister Janet Hoff.
Georgia was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was a very talented musician in a country band of Lima as the Limaland Drifters and an accomplished craft and tole painter. She worked in many places, but the most for K-Mart for 25 years. She loved sewing and made many of her children’s clothes. She loved camping with her children and grandchildren. She will be missed by many in the community and relatives. She will always be remembered for her Oreo Truffle Balls.
Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m., Friday, February 16, at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Doug Pretorius officiating. Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Special Olympics.
