Donut dash

Several dozen people celebrated National Donut Day on Friday, June 2, by participating in a contest that challenged them to be the first to finish a tasty pastry, hands-free, as it dangled above the sidewalk. The event, sponsored by Four Acre Clothing Co., was part of Downtown Bellefontaine’s First Friday Pineapple Palooza. Four Acre also ran a “Find the Golden Pineapple” contest and the evening concluded with a street concert by the band Cherry Blonde. (EXAMINER PHOTO | SHARYN KOPF)
