A man previously convicted in 1991 of pandering obscenity involving minors now faces more than 40 counts after a Logan County grand jury handed up indictments this week.
Donald J. Wilson, 81, of Bellefontaine, has been charged with 21 counts of pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, second-degree felonies; 21 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, third-degree felonies; five counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, fourth-degree felonies; voyeurism, a fifth-degree felony.
He was arrested Oct. 28 as part of a Logan County Sheriff’s Office investigation. Detectives had determined he had downloaded multiple files of confirmed child sexual abuse from the internet.
A search warrant was served at his residence and investigators found evidence.
Other indictments charged:
• Johnny E. Williams, 33, at large: 25 counts of illegal use of a minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material of performance, fifth-degree felonies; and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person, a fourth-degree felony;
• Franklin J. Howard, 47, of Bellefontaine: having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony; two misdemeanor counts of aggravated menacing; and a misdemeanor count of using weapons while intoxicated;
• Joseph J. Lakatos, 58, of Bellefontaine: having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony; and possession of cocaine with firearm specification, a fifth-degree felony;
• Timothy J. Tewksbury, 54, of Bellefontaine: having weapons under disability, a third-degree felony; and possession of cocaine with firearm specification, a fifth-degree felony;
• David A. Hunsicker, 58, of Bellefontaine: obstructing justice, a third-degree felony; and possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony;
• Tiffany L. Baum, 21, of Bellefontaine: obstructing justice, a third-degree felony; and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fourth-degree felony;
• Lilith N. Dulen, 19, of Bellefontaine: extortion, a third-degree felony; and misdemeanor falsification;
• Larry L. Carroll, 56, of Perrysburg: theft from a person in a protected class, a fourth-degree felony;
• Sierra S. Johnston, 37, of Canal Winchester: two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs, second-degree felonies; possession of cocaine, a third-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and conveyance of drugs of abuse onto the grounds of specified government facility, a third-degree felony;
• Christopher J. Bannister, 18, of Convoy: receiving stolen property, a fourth-degree felony; and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony;
• Thomas A. Sachetti, 68, of Lakeview: misdemeanor operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony;
• Shayne A. Proffit, 41, at large: tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and misdemeanor illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Sierra B. Brazier, 25, at large: aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony; and misdemeanor illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia;
• Cody M. Castle, 29, of Kenton: misdemeanor operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; and improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a fifth-degree felony;
• Dustin T. Wells, 33, of Lewistown: failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer; a third-degree felony;
• Simon C. Gilligan, 52, of Lakeview: two counts of theft from a person in a protected class, fourth-degree felonies;
• Cole A. Duncan, 26, of Cable: two counts of domestic violence, fifth-degree felonies; menacing by stalking, a fourth-degree felony; disrupting public services, a fourth-degree felony; and misdemeanor aggravated menacing; and
• James P. Holland II, 32, at large: pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person; a fourth-degree felony; and failure to verify address, a fourth-degree felony.
