Man lodged on drug charges after traffic stop

Joshua Rorabough, 37, of Lakeview, was charged with possession of drugs, possession of drug abuse instruments and drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 12. 

Officers of the Washington Township Police Department on patrol about 1:08 p.m. on State Route 366 near State Route 368 and conducted a traffic stop on Rorabough for traveling 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.

Upon making contact with the defendant, signs of drug use were observed. Rorabough consented to a search of his person and vehicle. 

During a search of his person, a suboxone, hypodermic needle and spoon with burn marks were recovered. Rorabough admitted he used the hypodermic needle and spoon to inject suboxone.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
