Chris M. Fry, 68, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 11:44 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. He was born on November 19, 1955, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a son of the late George Bernard Fry and Arlene Harriet (Watkins) Fry.
On September 12, 1992, Chris married Sharon Ann (Maus) Fry in Bellefontaine, Ohio, and she survives. He is also survived by two stepchildren, Norro Perdue, Reuben Perdue; two grandchildren, Alexis Blake Berry, Sebastian (Jessica) Crain; three great grandchildren, Clarissa Berry, Colt Crain, and Cheyenne Perdue; three siblings, Curt (Gina) Fry, Adelene Saunders, and Robert (Debra M.) Fry; three nieces, Dawn (Billy) Baughman), Maria J. Coen, and April Hites; three nephews, Jeff Fry, Eric Fry, and Aaron Saunders; and a great niece, Zoey Jolee Fry. In addition to his parents, Chris was preceded in death by two siblings, Daniel K. Fry, and Dawn Latisha Fry.
Chris had served as a radar technician in the U.S. Army and worked as a licensed practical nurse at Logan Acres. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, and gardening.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
