Charles O. Littlejohn, 94, of Bellefontaine, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 29, 2023, at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.

Charles was born on November 27, 1928, in Bellefontaine, to the late Floran and Marie (Albright) Littlejohn.  He married Deloris Detweiler and she preceded him in death.  Charles was also preceded in death by a sister Dorothy Brown, and niece Janet Hunsicker.

Charles is survived by his brother James Littlejohn of Bellefontaine; nephew John Brown of Pennsylvania; and nieces Susan Brown Paff of Urbana, and Sheryl Littlejohn of Bellefontaine.

Charles worked as a printer for 30+ years at Merchant Industries.   He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.  Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army Engineers, having served during the Korean War, and he was assigned to support the U.S. Air Force.

Pastor Jeff Willetts will officiate a memorial service for Charles on Monday, May 8, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church, 1140 Rush Ave. Bellefontaine, Ohio, where a visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Cemetery, West Liberty.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Christian School, 1140 Rush Ave. Bellefontaine, OH 43311.
