WL-S boys coast to 5-0 shutout of Irish

West Liberty-Salem’s boys soccer team celebrated senior night with a 5-0 victory over Springfield Catholic Central in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup Monday night.

The Tigers are now 11-2-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the OHC.

Isaiah Reames led the Tigers with two goals and an assist in the win. Lance
Campbell also had two goals, Caleb Ling tallied one goal and Isaiah Reminder and Wyatt Longaberger each had two assists.

Tucker Searles and Kyler Langhardt combined for the shutout in goal. Langhardt had one save.

The Tigers celebrated their seniors Caleb Hershberger, Hunter Little, Carson Kerns, Daniel Neer, Reminder, Max Rudolph, Reames and Clay McAuley.

WL-S girls tie Irish

West Liberty-Salem’s girls soccer team tied Springfield Catholic Central 4-4 on Monday in an Ohio Heritage Conference matchup.

The Tigers are now 6-7-1 overall and 4-2-1 in the OHC. SCC moves to 4-5-2,
3-2-2.

Scoring goals for WL-S were Jenna Cline, Ava Johnson, Chloe Bender and
Arianna Weaver. Cline also had an assist.

The Tigers wrap up the regular season Thursday at Greeneview.
