Driver Dana D. Bright, 49, of Bellefontaine, and her passenger Gavin O. Bright, 19, were transported by Bellefontaine EMS and Tri-Valley EMS to Mary Rutan Hospital following a one-vehicle crash Monday afternoon, Dec. 18.
Dana sustained suspected minor injuries, and Gavin sustained possible injuries, deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office report.
Dana was operating a westbound 2001 Ford F-150 about 3:05 p.m. in the 3200 block of C.R. 10 during snowy conditions when she lost control, went off the left side of the road and struck a ditch.
Damage was heavy to the pickup. Dana was cited for failure to control. She was wearing her seat belt, but Gavin was not wearing his seat belt, according to the crash report.
• Deputies also are investigating a hit-skip crash that occurred about 6:20 p.m. Monday during winter weather conditions.
Deputies report an unknown vehicle was westbound on County Road 20 near County Road 118 when it went off the right side of the road on a curve, striking two road signs. The vehicle then left the scene.
