Induction ceremony banquet ticket sales wrapping up Friday
The 2025 West Liberty-Salem Athletic Hall of Fame Class will be formally honored Friday, Oct. 10, between first and second quarters of the home varsity football game against Triad.
The celebration will continue with a formal Induction Ceremony and Banquet Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Mac-O-Chee Castle Wedding & Event Venue in West Liberty. Social hour from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Banquet tickets are $40 each and are available for purchase through Friday, Oct. 3, at the WL-S Central Office, at Civista Bank in West Liberty, or by calling (937) 465-1140 to reserve seats. Tickets can also be purchased online: West Liberty-Salem Hall of Fame Reception.
This year’s induction honors the accomplishments of the historic cross-country teams from 1978 and 1979, as well as two individuals who left a lasting impact on Tiger athletics and the WL-S community: Coach Ann Thornburg and Contributor John Roettger.
