Ted Kerr, 59, of Bellefontaine, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024, at his home after a short courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Bellefontaine on March 29, 1965, to the late John and Shirley (Ward) Kerr. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Terry Kerr.
On October 21, 1993, he married Sherry (Dickinson) Kerr and she survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Crystal Kerr; granddaughter, Ellie Kerr; brothers: John (Carol) Kerr Jr. and Jerry (Lynn) Kerr; nephew, Rowan Kerr; aunt and uncle, Marvin (Carole) Ward; and his longtime special friend, Jim Frey.
A 1983 graduate of Riverside High School, Ted went on to obtain a degree from Trinidad State College in Trinidad Colorado. After college he worked as a repair service technician for Mobile Surgical Instrument Services. He was an avid outdoorsman, a local historian and enjoyed reading.
Per Ted’s wishes, he will be cremated, and a private service will be held by the family.
