Logan County sheriff’s deputies responded to a domestic incident Monday evening, May 13, between a mother and a daughter at a Belle Center area home.
The mother told deputies she believed her daughter, Jessica Dudgeon, 33, had been using drugs. Dudgeon had reportedly been texting and calling her mother throughout the day as well as cussing and yelling at her.
According to reports, Dudgeon “smashed” a TV, destroyed a coffee pot and damaged a screen door and a wall inside the residence.
Dudgeon’s mother reportedly declined to file domestic violence charges against her daughter for spiting on her when she contacted the sheriff’s office.
Deputies observed Dudgeon appeared animated and was sweating profusely and talking fast.
Dudgeon produced a baggie with small amount of a crystalline substance, which she admitted was methamphetamine. She also gave them a glass pipe containing burnt white and black residue.
The suspect, who is currently on probation in Logan and Allen counties, was arrested for aggravated possession of drugs. An additional charges for possession of drug abuse instruments is pending.
She was lodged in the Logan County Jail.
