Taste of Bellefontaine set for Friday, road closures announced

A special edition of First Friday’s Taste of Bellefontaine is slated for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 7, in conjunction with the Logan County Famers’ Market, presented by Fathom Realty.

Attendees are invited downtown Friday for the event, where eateries will be incorporating ingredients from the Logan County Farmers’ Market to use in their tasting samples this year.

Ticket holders can try food samples from 600 Downtown, The Flying Pepper Cantina, City Sweets & Creamery, Sweet Aromas, Native Coffee, Dash & Joey, and Chef House.
East Columbus Avenue and Court Street will host a special edition Friday night Logan County Farmers’ Market, as well as the First Friday vendors.

Check in for the Taste of Bellefontaine will be at the fountain, where Bob Lucas will be playing tunes and The Flying Pepper and Chef House will be serving their samples.

To top it off, downtown retailers will have sidewalk sales all weekend long.

East Columbus Avenue from Main Street to Opera Street as well as Court Street from Main Street to Opera Street will close at 2 p.m. Friday. These are the only streets that will be closing.

Vendors from Logan County Farmers’ Market and First Fridays will begin set up after 3 p.m. when the streets have had a chance to clear.
