Detectives with the Bellefontaine Police Department were contacted May 20 by deputies of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office regarding a sexual assault case that they had started to investigate. During their investigation, it was determined that the incidents occurred within the jurisdiction of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Over the course of several days, Bellefontaine police detectives and officers conducted several interviews and served several search warrants related to the case. This culminated on May 30 with the arrest of Jordan Kyle Walker, 35, of Bellefontaine, who has been criminally charged and lodged in the Logan County Jail, specifically for Unlawful Sexual Conduct with a Minor.
