RTC’s Haunted Halls 2025 delivers fun, frights, community spirit

The 2025 Haunted Halls is officially in the books, where hundreds of children, teens and adults came out to enjoy an evening filled with thrills, chills, laughter, and plenty of Halloween fun at RTC Services, 334 E. Columbus Ave., Bellefontaine.

Guests had the choice between two unforgettable experiences, prior to Beggar’s Night Thursday, Oct. 30.

The spooky hall offered an old-school carnival feel, complete with fun games, little prizes, and just the right amount of spookiness for younger guests and those who preferred smiles over screams.

Meanwhile, the scary hall turned up the fright factor, featuring a haunted cornfield, a creepy butcher shop, a twisted carnival, and much more for those looking for a true Halloween scare.

Many guests couldn’t resist experiencing both the spooky hall and the scary hall. The event was filled with laughter, gasps, and a few well-timed screams as families and friends enjoyed the night.

The evening wrapped up with free hot dogs, popcorn, and lemonade, before everyone headed out for trick-or-treating.

“Haunted Halls is always one of my favorite events,” said Tonya Reed, RTC’s executive director. “From the camaraderie of our staff as we plan and decorate to watching our clients join in — whether they’re helping with the scares or walking through the halls — it’s pure joy from start to finish.”
