Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single-vehicle, rollover crash about 7:30 p.m. Sunday, April 27, in the 1300 block of County Road 25.
Alexander VanVoorhis, 19, of Zanesfield, was driving a 1985 Chevrolet pick-up truck southbound on C.R. 25 when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and overcorrected. The truck then overturned, went off the left side of the road and came to rest in a ditch.
VanVoorhis and a passenger in the truck, Allison Pinet, 18, of St. Paris, each sustained possible injuries, but neither were transported from the scene, according to crash reports.
Reports indicate the driver may have been distracted by something outside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Damage to the truck was disabling, and it was towed from the scene.
The occupants each were wearing seat belts.
