Downtown Bellefontaine is going tropical this summer with the return of its biggest street festival — the fourth annual Pineapple Palooza — on Saturday, June 7, from 2 p.m. to midnight.
This vibrant, family-friendly event invites the community to come together for a full day of fun, food and festivities. With more than 40 local vendors, live music, and a lineup of interactive attractions, Pineapple Palooza has something for everyone.
Festival highlights include:
- Ziplining down Main Street;
- Petting zoo and pony rides;
- Bounce house fun zone with five inflatables;
- Balloon artists and contest for kids;
- Food trucks, local eats & sweet treats
- Live performances from local artists, followed by headliner Southern Summer to conclude the night from 9 to 11:30 p.m.
- Admission is free, and guests can purchase activity wristbands for access to bounce houses, balloon art, pony rides, and more. The zipline ride is ticketed separately.
This festival isn’t just about fun—it’s also about celebrating the spirit of Bellefontaine. The pineapple, a symbol of hospitality and welcome, represents the community’s warmth and the thriving energy of the downtown district, organizers noted.
Street closures will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early, explore the vendor market, and make a day of it.
