Jo’s life was dedicated to supporting her husband and their ministry in the Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years. She was unapologetic in her devotion to being a full time stay at home mother. A selfless and generous mother, she gave unconditional love and supported her children’sand grandchildren endeavors wholeheartedly. Her greatest strength was her listening skills, her words of encouragement, her wisdom she shared when asked, and her never ending prayers for all of her family. Her love language was creating and preparing wonderful meals for her family such as her famous homemade noodles, butterscotch pies, and beautifully Christmas colored popcorn balls.

She modeled a passion for learning, introspection, deep thinking, meditation and a strong love for Jesus and study and memorizing scripture. Her relationship with Jesus was steadfast and the center of her life. She found enjoyment in nature, tapping trees for maple syrup, fishing, gardening, and watching birds at her feeder. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, camping and visiting 47 states in their RV. She was very involved in volunteering in her church as a Vacation Bible School Director, and Sunday School teacher; having so much fun entertaining children with her puppet Bible School Bill.
