The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center invites area high school juniors, seniors and their parents to participate in the 44th annual Logan County College Day, which is set for Friday, Sept. 26, at Benjamin Logan High School.
“What’s your “E”? If enrollment is the answer, College Day is for you. If you are looking for a two-year, four-year, trade school or certificated program, you will find it,” organizers said.
Military representatives and businesses offering tuition reimbursement options will also be in attendance.
High school students from Bellefontaine City, Benjamin Logan Local, Indian Lake Local, Ohio Hi Point Career Center and Riverside Local Schools are participating in this first-rate educational opportunity.
Representatives from colleges, universities, technical schools, businesses, and the US military will be available to meet with students between the hours of 8:30 to 11 a.m. Each school will attend Logan County College Day during a prearranged time block.
Parents are encouraged to attend and should check with their student or call their high school guidance department for their school’s time frame.
A panel made up of speakers from two-year, four-year, state and a private school in addition to military will speak to the students and describe the various educational options. The high school students will have an opportunity for a short question and answer session with the speakers prior to meeting with admission counselors at the fair in the gymnasium.
For more information, contact guidance counselors at area high schools or Karen Sorreles at the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, 599-5195 ext. 5506.
