Compared to last year’s homecoming hurricane, Friday night’s sunny skies were perfection for the Indian Lake 2025 homecoming parade of cars, crowning ceremony and game. Prior to kickoff, classmates, football fans, band members and cheerleaders were able to celebrate this year’s 2025 Homecoming Court at Laker Stadium. The court looked their best coming around the track in fancy vehicles and across the field to be recognized. Pictured are King Ke’Shawn Blackwell and Queen Riley Ross, alongside 2024 King Bryce Burton and Queen Halle Roby, who crowned the couple in front of cheering family and friends. Also congratulations to freshmen attendants Nixon Lillard and Ayla Brentlinger, sophomore attendants Braden Tussing and Alivia Kinney, junior attendants Gary Hutton and Cami Bailey and senior attendants Avery Pequignot and Evie Wagner. The Lakers won their game 45-0 over the Shawnee Braves. Students celebrated with a homecoming dance on Saturday night, Oct. 4. (Indian Lake SCHOOLS PHOTO)
