Logan County Children’s Services hosts its annual community event Saturday, April 12, in observance of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
KidFest takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, at the Bellefontaine High School cafeteria and gym.
A variety of free community booths feature interactive activities. Each family will receive a free passport for a chance to win prizes in a drawing.
Entertainment throughout the day includes:
• Erica Carlson Magic Show at 11:30 a.m.;
• Balloon sculpting at 12:15 p.m.;
• Performance by Gloria’s Tumbling at 12:30 p.m.; and
• Bearded and Barefoot photobooth and face painting all day.
The free community booths include: Child ID Kits provided by the Bellefontaine Police Department; tours of the DeGraff Volunteer Fire Department and Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department trucks; along with the Chippewa Neighborhood Outreach Center, Mary Rutan Health, Logan County Health District, CareSource, TCN Behavioral Health, Prevention Awareness Supportive Services (PVFF – PASS), Community Health & Wellness Partners, Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District, Girl Scouts, Logan County WIC/JFS, Logan County Board of Developmental Disabilities & Early Intervention, Logan County Family and Children First Council, Logan County Head Start and Logan County Libraries.
