Judge Natasha R. Kennedy has been appointed by the Supreme Court of Ohio to serve as vice-chair of the Commission on the Rules of Superintendence for Ohio Courts.
Judge Kennedy was first appointed by Justice Patrick F. Fischer for a term beginning Jan 1, 2024, and then appointed to vice chair by Chief Justice Sharon L. Kennedy for a term to commence Jan. 1, 2026.
Pursuant to the powers vested in the Supreme Court of Ohio by the Ohio Constitution regarding general superintendence over all courts in the state, and to assist the Court in the exercise of its rule-making powers, there is a Supreme Court Commission on the rules of superintendence for Ohio Courts.
The commission reviews all rules of superintendence for Ohio courts. The commission also receives and considers proposed rules and amendments and recommends rules and amendments for adoption to the Court.
The commission consists of 20 members appointed by the Supreme Court.
