Indian Lake scored two touchdowns in the last 8:13 of the game to pull out a thrilling 28-27 win over visiting Allen East in a non-conference football matchup Friday night.

The Lakers, who won just one game last year, improve to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs drop to 1-3.
Trailing 27-21 with less than a minute left to play in the fourth quarter, Drake Cosby found the end zone from two yards out to tie the game at 27-27.
Kolton Cummins added the extra point to give the Lakers a 28-27 lead with 53 seconds remaining.
The Lakers then held on in the final seconds to preserve the victory.
Chiefs’ rushing attack punishes Hornets.
Bellefontaine quarterback Tavien St. Clair had thrown for 660 yards and eight touchdowns in the Chieftains’ first two games of the season. So it’s natural to expect Licking Heights to key on St. Clair and the passing game in Friday’s nonleague football game.
That proved to be a mistake, however, as it was senior running back Chris Fogan who stole the show. Fogan carried 21 times for 209 yards and three touchdowns as the Chieftains got out to an early 31-7 lead and cruised to a 45-14 win over the host Hornets.
Pirates’ 2nd-half barrage overwhelms
It was a tale of two halves for Riverside’s football team Friday night.
Little went right for the Pirates in the first half as they fell down 10-3 to host Spencerville at halftime.
But Riverside exploded for 45 second-half points to roll to a 45-10 victory in a non-conference game.
The Pirates are now 2-1. It was the first loss of the season for the Bearcats (1-2).
“We couldn’t finish drives in the first half,” said Riverside head coach Bryce Hodge. “We got after the guys a little bit at halftime and they responded in the second half.
“I am happy the way the guys played in the second half, but we have to put four quarters together. We are playing well in stretches, but we need to string that together for an entire game.”
Tigers roar past Rams for first conference win
The West Liberty-Salem Tigers took care of business on the road Friday, dispatching Greeneview 41-19 in an Ohio Heritage Conference crossover matchup.
The Tigers improve to 3-0 (1-0.) Greeneview drops to 1-2 (0-1.)
The Tigers roared to a fast start against the homestanding Rams, scoring five first half touchdowns en route to a 34-6 halftime lead.
Gabe McGill found the endzone four times in the first and second quarters, and a defensive TD for WL-S punctuated a well-rounded first half of football.
Raiders unable to contain Cavaliers in loss
Benjamin Logan’s football team could not find a way to slow down Lehman Catholic on Friday as the visiting Cavaliers cruised to a 56-14 win in a non-league contest.
The Raiders drop to 0-3 on the season. Lehman improves to 2-1.
Ben Logan held up early, but could not sustain it as Lehman built a 41-14 lead at halftime.
