The Bellefontaine City Council will be facing a full agenda at its regular bi-monthy meeting, which is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 7:30 p.m.
On the agenda are 13 separate measures that will up for a third reading and final vote.
Among those ordinances up for a final vote Tuesday include setting the pay scales for Bellefontaine Municipal Court Judge, council members, clerk of council, mayor, law director, auditor and treasurer, as well as the 2026 supervisory wage scale, the 2026 service wage scale, the 2026 Municipal Court employees wages and the 2026 clerical workers pay.
Also up for third readings and final votes are measures that will allow the purchase of miscellaneous supplies and making temporary appropriations for the year beginning Jan. 1, 2026, through Dec. 31, 2026, as well as ordinances that will create positions for a chief deputy clerk for the Municipal Court, the wastewater department, assistant water superintendent and assistant sewer superintendent.
The council will also consider adopting resolutions that will set up a cybersecurity system program for the city and authorizing the Logan County Auditor to remove a $650 lien for mowing costs for the property located at 217 S. Park St., as well as hearing on the the first reading an ordnance that will approve into Maris Park Phase V subdivision dedication plat, which contains 21.180 acres in Jefferson Township.
