As preparations are being made to graduate the Bellefontaine High School Class of 2025, school officials are closely monitoring the weather forecast for graduation day – Friday, May 30.

At this time, there is a possibility of inclement weather that could impact the outdoor ceremony.

“While we are still planning to hold the event outside, we want to ensure everyone is prepared in case of a change. Should the forecast worsen, we will move the ceremony to the Bellefontaine High School gymnasium. A final decision will be made and communicated by 2 p.m. Friday, May 30,” school officials said.

In the event of an indoor ceremony, seating will be limited. Each graduating student will receive four guest tickets during rehearsal on Thursday to be used only if the ceremony is moved indoors.

Overflow seating will be available in the auditorium, where the ceremony will be livestreamed for additional family and friends to view comfortably.

Doors to the gymnasium and auditorium will open at 6 p.m.

Please stay tuned for updates via FinalForms, social media, local media outlets, and e-mail.

“We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to provide a safe and memorable graduation experience for our students and families,” school officials said.
