The inaugural Bellefontaine Holiday Home Tour will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6, offering the community a festive evening of beautifully-decorated homes while raising funds for a special project for families served by Raising Arrows.
Guests will begin the evening with check-in from 4 to 6 p.m. at Raising Arrows, 613 Hamilton St., Bellefontaine, where they will receive tour materials before starting the self-guided experience.
The tour includes nine stops, each decorated in unique holiday themes. Homes will be open from 4 to 8 p.m.
Raising Arrows is a non-profit organization supporting foster and kinship families in Logan County. The home tour is raising funds to purchase Columbus Zoo memberships for their families.
Additional festivities include complimentary hot cocoa at Allways Brewin’ from 4 to 8 p.m., a live choir performance at The Maxwell Events from 6 to 7 p.m., and an after-party with holiday music by Darcy Law at The Maxwell Events from 8 to 9 p.m.
Although the event is just days away, organizers note that sponsorship opportunities remain available. New sponsors will be added to the event website and included on a large thank-you banner displayed at the tour and at highly trafficked area after the tour.
Current sponsors include: Dorceys, Aaron Francis with Royer Realty, Wishwell Farms, Hickory Medical Center, Middlefield Bank, The Sign Shop and The Nest 1896.
“We’re excited to bring a new holiday tradition to Bellefontaine,” said Event Director Kristie Herlong. “This tour brings together the magic of the season while supporting families who need our community the most.”
