A Bellefontaine man is being held in the Logan County Jail after he was formally charged with two counts of rape and two counts of sexual imposition following an investigation by deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
Defendant Noah Oakie Taylor, 27, appeared before Judge Jacob Estes Friday, April 25, following his arrest Tuesday evening, April 22.
The judge imposed a $500,000 bond. Deputies confirmed that for three of the charges, the victim is under the age of 13.
The case will now be forwarded to the Logan County grand jury in May and Taylor’s arraignment date is scheduled for May 25.
