The Bellefontaine Joint Recreation District hosts a Hoffman Pool community design meeting, set for 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 13, at Bellefontaine High School’s Distance Learning Center.
Parks Superintendent Kris Myers previously said three input community meetings related to the new pool are planned.
This first meeting Thursday evening is a chance for people to share their ideas and dreams for the pool project.
Then second meeting will go over options that come out of the first conversation. Then, at the final gathering, board members will present a conceptual plan based on what the community wants to see how it fits into the budget.
At their October meeting, the BJRD Board of Trustees authorized the parks department to hire MSA Sport out of Columbus for design and construction administration of the new pool project.
