Harley Henry, 40, of Lakeview, was charged with possession of drugs and was cited for driving under suspension during a traffic stop Friday, Oct. 17.
Officers of the Washington Township Police Department were on patrol about 4:50 p.m. on U.S. Route 33 near State Route 235 and conducted a traffic stop due to Henry not having a valid driver’s license.
Upon making contact with the driver, signs of drug use were observed. K9 Tega was requested to respond to the scene. K9 Tega was deployed around the vehicle and alerted to the odor of an illegal drug.
A probable cause search was conducted and methamphetamine was located inside of the vehicle.
Henry was taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail.
