Lutheran Community Services, 820 W. Sandusky Ave., Bellefontaine, offers a cooling center lunch break when temperatures reach 90 degrees or above this summer, or when a heat advisory is in effect.
The cooling center is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on those days.
Tuesday, July 29, a heat advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a heat index value of up to 100 degrees expected.
The cooling center will be supervised by a volunteer from the Logan County Housing Innovations Workgroup.
