Rushsylvania Lions Club Independence Day Celebration — Saturday, June 28; begins with a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Lions meeting room, 113 N. Sandusky St., across from the post office, meal includes: pancakes, locally-raised whole hog sausage, orange juice, coffee or milk, carry out will also be available, proceeds benefit local community service projects; Lions Club Independence Day Parade begins at noon through the downtown area, ending at the village park; all parade entries asked to line up on Stewart Street at 11:30 a.m.; Village of Rushsylvania also has many festivities planned that take place throughout the day at the village park, with fun activities and events for children and adults, an evening concert and fireworks at dusk.

West Liberty — Saturday, June 28; Summer Street Market at Lions Park, noon to 10 p.m., rain or shine, hosted by West Liberty Business Association, street vendors, food trucks, DORA; Lions Club hosts pancake breakfast from 7 to 11 a.m., fish fry from 5 to 7 p.m.; Summer Street Market Car Show from noon to 6 p.m., check-in and day of show registration begins at 11 a.m., awards at 6 p.m.; live entertainment under entertainment tent features Pete Mosbarger from noon to 3 p.m.; Tucker Munz Music from 3 to 6 p.m., Ragtop Down from 6 to 10 p.m.; fireworks at dusk, sponsored by Village of West Liberty, Liberty Township and private donors. 

Belle Center Independence Day Celebration — Friday, July 4; American Legion Auxiliary’s pancake breakfast takes place from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building; 11 a.m., parade line up at Richland Township Park on School Street; parade begins at noon; 3 p.m., kids pedal tractor pull; 4 to 8 p.m., DJ and karaoke with Chris at the Shelter “House”, with karaoke contest for ages 13 and older, register by 5 p.m., contest starts at 5:30 p.m., prizes for first, second, third place; 6 to 8 p.m., war wrestling; fireworks at dark; no golf carts in the park, designed motorcycle parking available; concessions and games offered all day, take a chair or blanket and enjoy the festivities; fireworks made possible through community donations, which may be made July 4, or by mailing to: Belle Center Fireworks, P.O. Box 513, Belle Center, 43310; make checks payable to “Belle Center Fireworks.”

West Mansfield Independence Day Celebration — Friday, July 4, West Mansfield Conservation Club, 701 S. Main St., West Mansfield; activities include royalty contest, 5K race, pancake and sausage breakfast, kids fishing clinic, cake walk, free bounce houses, vendors on the lawn, a variety of food trucks, raffles, 50/50 drawing, live music in the gazebo, softball tournaments; fireworks at dusk.

Light Up the Lake Spectacular (Indian Lake) — Saturday, July 5, fireworks begin at 10 p.m.; brought to you by Indian Lake Chamber & Indian Lake Area Visitors Bureau, co-hosted by Indian Lake State Park & Ohio Department of Natural Resources, main event sponsor RVWholesalers; the launch site will close beginning Monday, June 30, for fireworks preparations, will be marked with fencing, launch site: south bank of Indian Lake, from the Midway parking lot on State Route 366 (near Township Road 239) to Paradise Point; event parking: Old Field parking lot will be open July 5 until full, overflow parking is allowed in designated grass areas on the west and south bank between the road and the bike path; keep the bike path and grass between the bike path and the lake clear for pedestrians; no parking on the bike path or in undesignated areas; for boaters: Safety Zone will be marked July 5 with orange buoys, ensure working navigation lights, don’t use docking lights. 

East Liberty Independence Day Celebration — Saturday, July 5, 2 to 10 p.m., Perry Park; parade, food trucks, vendors, 50/50 drawing, bounce houses, cake walk, DJ Joe Pine of American Entertainment hosts various activities, trivia, games, contests, patriotic music during fireworks, which start at dusk.
