Officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department report the arrest of Roscelle Clark II, 63, 428 E. High Ave. at his home Wednesday, June 11.
Officers report that they observed Clark driving northbound on north Main Street about 5:35 p.m. Knowing that Clark had outstanding warrants for his arrest, officers attempted to initiate a stop after Clark turned north onto Park Street. Clark reportedly disregarded the emergency lights from the patrol car before driving east on east High Ave. and parking his vehicle in the driveway of his home.
At that time, Clark was arrested for outstanding warrants for two counts of possession of cocaine and one count of tampering with evidence, all of which are felonies. He was taken into custody and was transported to the Logan County Jail without further incident.
• In other actions, the officers were called to the jail to serve a warrant for making false allegations to a peace officer to Ralph Rosenberger, 68, of Lakeview, at about 2:20 p.m. Wednesday.
The BPD also reports officers were dispatched to the Jackson County Jail to pick up Derek Bluvaugh, 31, of Mechanicsburg, on a warrant for failure to appear. Bluvaugh was taken into custody by the BPD before being transported and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
