Deputies of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded about 4:55 p.m. Thursday, June 15, to the Mountain Top RV Park, 173 Timber Trace, Zanesfield, on a report of a burglary.
The resident reported to deputies that he had been away on vacation recently, and when he arrived home, he discovered that his trailer/camper had been ransacked.
The victim said two generators were stolen from the front porch. Inside the trailer, missing items included tools, equipment, a TV and computer accessories.
Deputies said it appeared the suspect forced entry into the trailer through the front door and they observed clothes, and other items displaced and thrown around the trailer.
Deputies also will review security camera footage from the Mountain Top RV Park.
