Emarie Carpenter and Olive Culp have the honor of representing the West Mansfield American Legion Post 603 as Little Miss Poppy for 2023.
The girls are collecting donations to benefit the Operation Comfort Warriors program of the American Legion. Emarie is a daughter of Chad and Ann Carpenter and Olive is a daughter of Jon and Holly Culp.
The West Mansfield Post 603 will honor fallen comrades in the Memorial Day service at 10 a.m. May 29 at the West Mansfield Conservation Clubhouse, 701 S. Main St. West Mansfield. The public is invited to attend the service.
Tom Huffman, U.S. Navy retired, will be the guest speaker and music will be provided by the Community Choir.
