A female driver sustained serious injuries Monday evening and was flown to a Columbus hospital after a two-vehicle, head-on crash in the 1500 block of County Road 10 just outside the Bellefontaine city limits.
The injured driver was taken by squad by to the Mary Rutan Hospital helipad after the crash which occurred about 6:20 p.m. She was then transported by MedFlight to Grant Hospital in Columbus, troopers of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report.
Information about the other driver, also a female, was not immediately available.
Troopers were assisted by Bellefontaine Fire & EMS and officers of the Bellefontaine Police Department.
