West Liberty-Salem extended its congratulations to students Owen Barger, Shyanne McClintick and Ella Vondenhuevel, who have earned one of the highest honors in the Ohio FFA Association — the State FFA Degree.

The State FFA Degree is awarded to a small percentage of members who demonstrate exceptional leadership, commitment to agricultural education, and active participation in FFA. Requirements include at least two years of membership, completion of a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE), and extensive involvement in FFA programs and service.

This recognition marks a significant milestone on the path toward the even more selective American FFA Degree.

The district expressed its appreciation to van driver Ashlee Smith, and chaperones Cary Knotts and Kathy Smith, as well as all those who supported these students throughout their FFA journey.
